We will start this excursion outside the hotel's main entrance where the horses will be prepared and our tour guides will be waiting to provide us with the necessary safety elements.

The Family Horse Riding begins bordering our wetland, the nesting place of “canquenes, bandurrias & queltehues, among other bird species that we can see.

From that area, we will border Lago Negro, where we can approach its particular steady color.

After a small slope between the lake and forest, we will cross the Carretera Austral to start ascending about half a kilometer. To the east, we have a magnificent view of the General Carrera Lake, the largest lake in Chile and the second largest in South America will delight us with its particular turquoise color and the mountains that surround it. To the west, we have the native forest and if we are lucky, we will hear the woodpeckers and owls.

In that place, we will reach the top of the hill where we will have a panoramic view of the lake and the magnificent Contreras Mountain range. This will be the perfect point to take the best photographs of this area and feel the magical Patagonian wind.
